Creating and Using ICT Resources for Literacy - Drumcong

The course is designed to help teachers use ICT across the curriculum in their classroom. Modules covered on the course include: Maths Resources, Literacy Resources, Gaeilge Resources, Classroom Publishing, Using ICT as a class administrative tool, Using digital cameras (editing images for use in Microsoft Word or creating multimedia presentations/projects.) On a skills level, the course uses a wide variety of technology tools focusing on open or freeware software that will be accessible to all teachers back in their classroom via the internet. Software is chosen for ease of use and teacher-friendliness.
