Drama in the Classroom

The course aims to:

• provide teachers with techniques and ideas for use in the primary classroom
• emphasise active participation introducing teachers to　methods of drama to help to encourage creative, artistic and challenging experiences for their pupils
• provide a greater understanding of drama terminology
• look at the structure a drama workshop takes and develop your own workshop plans
• provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and develop links with teachers from other primary schools

 　
The course will focus on the drama curriculum and use story & fairytale to demonstrate the techniques observed in the curriculum
The course will include Theatre Games & Exercises, Improvisation, Voice Work, Characters, Role Play and Creative Stories
