Manual Handling (Education Centre)

 A course designed for all members of the school. On completion all participants will have a clear understanding of using the correct techniques to aid in the reduction of manual handling related injuries in the school.

On completion of the training programme the participants should :

• Be familiar with the legislation covering the manual handling of Loads.
• Understand the anatomy and physiology of the back
• Understand the risk factors associated with manual handling of loads.
•  Use correct lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying techniques taught during course.
