Music, Rhythm & Composition in the Primary Classroom

Music for the Classroom for all teachers with OR without musical ability - this practical, hands-on course will cover all areas of the Music Curriculum - Listening, Composing, and Performing. It covers Rhythm Games, Percussion, Chime Bars, Tuned Instruments, Rap & Song Writing, Group Formation, Art through Music, I.C.T., Choice of Music Pieces, Music Discipline & Presentation of all the above. The emphasis is on Fun for the children through all strands! This course is facilitated by Mary Curran, French Horn player with the RTE Orchestra and founder of the Whistle Blast Quartet.
