Numicon® Maths system is a multi-sensory approach to arithmetic teaching for Foundation, Key Stage 1 and older pupils with special needs. Teachers see the value of Numicon and that value is enhanced by training.
About Numicon:
Numicon imagery uses patterns to represent each numeral, the patterns are structured so number relationships can be seen in a way not provided by written numerals, the imagery is used in Numicon's inclusive small step teaching programme.
