Using Clicker

Audience:  Parents, Learning Support and Resource teachers, S.N.A.'s

Content:  The aim of this course is to make participants aware of the ways that a talking word- processor can be used to support literacy particularly with students with a learning disability.

Learning Outcomes: 

• The course aims to provide practical strategies
• that tutors can use to support students in the classroom
• that parents can use to support students at home
• The course explores a range of Assistive Technology used to assist learners
• Encourages learners to share experiences throughout the workshop
• Opportunities to examine supports will be provided
• Interactive workshop with learners:  making a Clicker Grid, making a Clicker Book
