Online Summer Course for Teachers - Health and Safety in Your School

The Health and Safety Authority are running an online course for teachers that can be taken over the Internet. This online course introduces Teachers and Principals to the basic principles of managing safety and health in schools and encourages teacher reflection on hazard indentification, risk assessments and the writing of safety statements.  The course content includes end of lesson assessments and off-line assignments.  The course is recognised by the Department of Education and Skills for EPV purposes.   Course dates are as follows:  1st to 7th July and 23rd to 27th August.  Booking Fee:  €50.00 If you require further information about participating on this course please contact Kilkenny Education Centre Tel   056 7760200.
