16LC44 - Creative Writing: Writing Over A Period of Time
This short course will look at creating a plan for writing a creative piece over a number of weeks.
It addresses creating a sound structure, with pupil-led editing that will inspire the children to write a story broken up into chapters that they will enjoy.
It will incorporate a number of aspects from the literacy curriculum, including a selection of writing genres.
At the end of this workshop you will be able to create a bound 5 chapter story complete with cover page, blurb and illustrations with the children in your classroom.
