CANCELLED - Mata sa Rang Follow Up Session

As you know Mata sa Rang is now in its fourth year and has been a huge success.

For a while, Maths Recovery (Ireland) has had a sense that it would be good to give some follow-up support to teachers who have completed either MsR Module 1 or MsR Module 2.

What is planned is that each centre will offer a free (i.e., no charge to the teachers) follow-up session to teachers who have completed either or both modules at any stage since MsR started.

Tutors will deliver a 2 hour session with two objectives. Firstly, it will entail a refresher session on Structuring Number. Secondly, it will allow an opportunity for teachers to meet up and chat about how they have been implementing MsR (or if they haven’t – how they might).

Also, as a little token of thanks, Maths Recovery (Ireland) is sending boxes of bits and pieces of card-based materials to each of the Centres for distribution to the teachers for free at these follow-up sessions on a first-come, first-served basis! There’s no guarantee there’s one of everything I’m afraid!
