11.30 AM SESSION

Donegal Children's Author Louise Flanagan is back this year to help us celebrate world book day 2024 with her very successful Dragonterra book series.

Louise will facilitate two online sessions for schools via zoom on Thursday, 7th March.

This booking is for the  11.30am session - Book Series 2 - Louise will read extracts from series 2 - Return to Dragonterra

She will also talk to the children about the process of writing the books - where the ideas came from and how long it took to write! There will be time for questions & answers at the end of the webinar.

Louise Flanagan is a secondary school teacher with an honours degree in English and French from NUIG. She lives in Letterkenny, Co Donegal with her husband and 3 children.

Dragonterra, a fantasy adventure for young readers, was initially written for Louise's own children to read during lockdown. When Evan and Conor learn about the magical portal to the land of Dragonterra, they continue on a quest that their grandad started as a boy! Wizard Snivvard has stolen and hidden all of the dragon eggs in Dragonterra. The boys must search for them throughout the land, meeting plenty of strange and wonderful creatures along the way. Can the boys find all of the eggs to break Wizard Snivvard's spell and restore the power of the mighty dragons, once and for all?
