Google Sites is a free and user friendly website creating platform and the course facilitator will walk you through the creation of your own website.... even offering a free website template! Many schools are currently using outdated, costly and time consuming website platforms. These packages are often costing €400 annually for upkeep, with quotes of €2,000 for redesigns being commonplace. This course seeks to save you the most precious of your resources.... time.

Bio - Colm Conlon (facilitator) has been supporting schools in various areas over the last number of years with Oide and as a local School Principal. Areas of expertise include SSE and Wellbeing, Website Design, SPHE, Restorative Practices and Anti Bullying Policies and Procedures (Bí Cineálta).

Learning Outcomes:

• Participants will be able to access Google Sites and explore the features within to build their own school website. 
• Participants will be able to explore time saving ways to create website posts.
• Participants will be able to troubleshoot any issues they might have setting up their new website.
