PDST - Effective Use of Digital Technologies in Your School - 23SU11

Participants in this PDST TiE course will explore practical strategies and resources for effectively using digital technology in their school. The course will explore a range of digital tools to allow teachers to maximise their use of digital technologies in the context of class, school, and level of experience.

Teachers will interact and experiment with an array of current tools, websites, and technologies to support their classroom practice, while also exploring how to use these technologies to support pupils with diverse learning needs, creating an inclusive learning environment for all.

Teachers will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues, share knowledge, and explore ways to practically implement their learnings in the coming school year.

Note: Closing date for registration on all courses is 3pm on Friday 23rd June.

Important Points to Note for Participants of our Face-to-Face Summer Courses 2023

• All courses run from 9.30am-2.00pm every day.
• A minimum number of participants is required in order for a course to proceed. Maximum capacity is 25 on face-to-face summer courses.
• Full attendance is required to be awarded 3 EPV days.
• 2 EPV days will be awarded for 4 days attendance.
• 1 EPV day will be awarded for 3 days attendance. (Regardless of the reason for the absence).
• No EPV days will be awarded for less than 3 days attendance.
• Lunch break is from 11.30-12.00 each day and a light lunch will be provided each day.

All our summer courses are booked on the condition that the course fee is non-refundable. Course Fees are not transferrable to another teacher. Unfortunately, if you wish to cancel your place on one of our courses or you are unable to attend the course, we are not in a position to refund fees. The course fee can only be refunded if the Education Centre cancels the course.
