This workshop will take participants on a journey to explore the many constrained and unconstrained skills that are involved in the complex reading process. The cueing systems will then be integral to analysing a sample lesson and noting the various ways that reading needs to be taught as opposed to being simply heard. Participants will need plain paper and a pencil at the ready.

Catherine Gilliland has previously delivered webinars through Dublin West, Tralee, West Cork and Laois Education Centres. Catherine was a  speaker at the World Literacy Summit and is published in the area of Literacy.
