Restorative School Culture - Part 2 - 24LCAU35 (Facilitator Michelle Stowe)
This workshop is aimed at everyone who works in education and offers an introduction to Restorative Practice through a trauma-informed lens, seeking to move conversations beyond behaviour management and towards the importance of connection and relationships. This understanding may be especially relevant when lighting a restorative pathway for school in a time when trauma-informed practices and thinking are essential to meet the varied needs of students and educators. Relationships are and always have been key! Reconnecting and building responsive relationships are at the heart of a restorative approach and what our lovely schools need now more than ever.
