This will be a 1-hour webinar for those who would like to learn how student voice and student participation in decision-making is being interpreted at different levels in Irish schools.
The objectives of the session are to:
- Provide a summary of the legal underpinnings provided by the UNCRC
- Explain the Lundy Model of Student Participation as created by Professor Laura Lundy, Queens University Belfast
- Share very manageable ideas from schools across Ireland who are enabling their students to exercise their voices and share in decision-making
- Provide guidance on where to locate resources to support practitioners working in this area
