The new PMC tells us that children of all ages love when maths is playful. Station teaching is a fun and effective intervention to teach maths at every class level as it naturally allows for more interactive and playful teaching and learning in small groups. This series gives teachers a range of tips and structures to carry out maths stations smoothly in their class along with maths games for all ages. Participants will leave these webinars feeling more confident to approach maths station teaching, equipped with a range of ideas, resources, materials and activities which complement the New PMC.

Learning Outcomes -
- Discover the practicalities of implementing station teaching in the class.
- Explore different math activities and games to develop children's understanding of different conceptsand procedures.
- Examine the range of ways children can play with and use concrete materials.
Orla Keane is a Primary School Teacher in a DEIS Band 1 School in Clare with AP experience in STEM and Numeracy. In 2021 she completed a Master of Arts in STEM Education and subsequently started the Instagram page @primaryschoolSTEM. Orla is passionate about simplifying STEM and showing teachershow effective it can be in nurturing children's 21st century skills.
